ok i need some votes for my tyranid bastion. a) use a regular bastion n fill it with tentacles n nid bits to represent its been taken over. b) a subterranean Bastian looking kinda like a sarlac pit but with capillary towers on the sides. c) a large organism like a giant octopus like nid or gigantic beetle creature. n d) a giant ant mound or termite hive looking thing.

so....................... OMFG!!! it came today my copy of space hulk arrived today!!! n what sucks is i'm still painting the minis for the store n wont get o mine for a while... especially seance i want to magnetize the terminators and broodlord so i can use them in 40k.

too excited...

so like may people i preordered my copy of the new space hulk because it looks fantastic! well i went out to my local store today n the owner had an advance copy. he let me put it together n played the first mission with me (i was the genestealers) and its awesome! but whats better is he commissioned me to pain the minis for the store. so now I'm struggling to get them done before the September 5th release date. going to be sweet!

so i've started lizardmen n i got lucky n managed to buy a bunch from people selling their old models. i've ended up with 118 skinks, 40 sarus warriors, 14 temple guard, 4 skink priests, one steggadon, and one slann mage.  n that's not counting some loos n unbuilt models... n all but the slann are unpainted ad i still intend to scratch built Tetto'eko for my all skink army.

now the bad news how the hell am i gonna paint all of this?!

ok this happened about a week ago but i'll let everyone know. the warhammer club at my local store, 2 D6 penetration, has promoted me to officer status. my 2 friends who started it have the ranks of Captain and Chaplin n i have been given the rank of Librarian. mostly this means i get to plan events n i'm the 3rd person in the event of a tie or inability to make a decision. i'm excited its going to be good to have a say in what we do n i think i'll eventually become the records keeper as well. in its a fitting title because i have never run a space marine army without a librarian. i'll soon be getting a club jacket with the soul drinkers emblem patch on the shoulder.
